Easy Loans - the way we see it

Well what an interesting world we live in...
Aside from the various warring factions across the globe it seems our banks are at war with each other!
With fixed rates for 5 years as low as 4.99% the competition is definitely heating up for your Home Loan !
With the banks offering such long term historically cheap interest rates this scribe believes personally that rates are more likely to go down than perhaps increase.
I say this simply by reading our nonstop flow of economic information which pretty much continues to tell us that the international economy is still a basket case and that even as of today 5th September the European central bank is experimenting with negative interest rates which are designed simply to coax banks into lending money to customers.
The reserve bank of OZ are also noted in there minutes that the scope for further reductions in interest rates are a possibility.
They are playing a waiting game currently and I think hoping for that missing miracle called economic growth!!
